What if your bathroom doesn’t really need a renovation and it just needs a breath of fresh air? You already know how easy is for the bacteria to settle in and how important hygiene is in the bathroom, especially when you have small children that stick their hands everywhere. I’m going to share with you now, a few tips and tricks to make your bathroom look like new (and even better).
- Attack the grout on your tile walls. Repair them if necessary, then scrub with brush and a solution made from one gallon of water and ¾ cup hydrogen peroxide-based bleach.
- To clean the porcelain enamel tubs use a nonabrasive cleaner, for the ones made from acrylic or fiberglass you must be gentler.
- Throw the shower curtain in the washing machine; if you have a shower door then use a squeegee and a glass cleaner
- As far as the sink goes, you first need to repair leaky faucets then clean it as usual
- The floors you can scrub with a good abrasive cleanser if it is non-glazed, but if it marble then it needs a gentler cleaning. Use a squeegee to get out the last bits of water.
Making your bathroom sparkle is one of the cheapest ways to freshen up the air, of course the impact is not as big as it would have if you would renovate it, but then again, why would you renovate if nothing is broken. So what are you waiting for? Put your gloves on and go make it sparkle.
